SANTA BARBARA INDIAN FESTIVAL — OCTOBER 12, 2019
Our History
Since coming to Santa Barbara in 1986, I have been fortunate in meeting the most incredible people, and my close association with the founder of Kinkos, Paul Orfalea and seeing his generous nature to all, spurred feelings more to help my local community. After volunteering at the local legal aid, then opening my own businesses, my desire to do something for my birthplace, South Africa led me to devise an idea to build a very unique center that housed the aged, and have them provide/volunteer to teach the local children after school. In this way we are enhancing the lives of the seniors and the children. Therefore we have opened the Belmont Community Center in Durban South Africa.
Our Mission
We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
